Know how you will be paid by adsense

After publishing the code to your site google will take nearly 48 hours to crawl into your site.Meanwhile public service ads will be posted to your site .Don’t worry about this.

You can check your earnings under Reports tab after logging into your adsense account.
You will earn money from AdSense in three ways:
1.)AdSense for content:

These ads are of two types - CPC (Cost per Clicks) ads for which you will only be paid if readers click on the ads, and CPM (Cost per 1000 impressions) for which you will be paid for just displaying the ads on your site, irrespective of whether the readers click on them or not. Although it is Cost per 1000 impressions, you don't need to reach 1000 impressions to be paid, but you would be paid proportionately for each click.

These are of two types - ad units and link units.

Ad units displays the ads directly on your site.Ad units contain either text ads, image ads, or both. The ads are targeted to the content of your page using contextual and site targeting.

Link unit displays a list of topics that are relevant to your page. When users click a topic, they're brought to a page of related ads.

The maximum number of Ad units you can put in a page is 4 or 5, and the maximum number of link unit is 1.

2.)AdSense Search

You can place 2 AdSense search boxes on your site. You will be paid when readers click on the ads by google in rectangular box that are displayed in the search result page.

3.)Referrals

You can also earn by referring people to join AdSense or AdWord, or to get other things like FireFox with Google toolbar, Google Pack, Picasa.

When a reader who signed up for Google AdSense through your referral earns $5.00 within 180 days of sign-up, you will be credited with $5.00. When that same publisher earns $100.00 within 180 days of sign-up and is eligible for payout, you will be credited with an additional $250.00. If, in any 180 day period, you refer 25 publishers who each earn more than $100.00 and are all eligible for payout, you will be awarded a $2,000.00 bonus.

When an reader who signed up for Google AdWords through your referral spends $5.00 (in addition to the $5.00 sign-up fee) within 90 days of sign-up, you will be credited with $5.00. When that same advertiser spends $100.00 within 90 days of sign-up, you will be credited with an additional $40.00. If, in any 180-day period, you refer 20 advertisers who each spend more than $100.00 within 90 days of their respective sign-ups, you will be awarded a $600.00 bonus.

When a user you refer to Google Checkout has an account in good standing and completes a transaction of at least $10 (before tax and shipping) within 90 days of sign-up,you'll be credited US $1.

You will be credited when someone clicks your referral and signs up for Google Apps with a domain that has not already been signed up for the service. The domain must then have one or more Google Apps email accounts in use for four consecutive weeks.

When a user downloads and installs Firefox through your referral, you'll be credited with up $1.00.

When a user downloads and installs at least one component of Google Pack through your referral, you'll credited up to $2.00
